This will be very brief, since we must get up at 4:30 tomorrow morning to get to the airport, and I promised Roger I'd get back to our room by 10 pm. We can't believe it's our last day here! We'd love to see more of China, but are longing to get home. One thing I must say is that we owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to my (Ruth's) mom, who has provided invaluable help to us here and added fun to our trip. It's been great to share this experience with her, and there are countless things that would have been much harder or impossible for us to do without her help. We will miss her a lot when we must go our separate ways in Minneapolis.
Today was pretty quiet. The only organized activity was some group pictures (see one of all the moms and adopted kids in our Bethany group). We also did some shopping and went to the pool, as you can see. We are sad to miss the wonderful buffet breakfast tomorrow morning, but it will be better for our waistlines to return our usual austere oatmeal and cereal. I think I must have gained weight on this trip between the great breakfasts and the stress eating! We can't wait to get settled with Naomi in our own home, and will look forward to gradually introducing her to all of you. Thanks again for your wonderful prayers and support. This has been the trip of a lifetime, and we get to bring the sweetest treasure of China home with us!

Ruth, I'll be praying for safe and smooth travels for all of you. I love the family shot! And let me pass on to your other blog readers who may not have realized this, but I only just discovered that if you click on a photo, it will enlarge. Don't know why I didn't think to try that before now.
See you soon,
Love Auntie M
Jolly good show! Thanks for the wonderful blog. You all did a great job!
These pictures are SO precious. The one(s) including Ruth's Mom are especially so to me. SHe must be thrilled to have been able to participate in this amazing journey.
Looking forward to hearing more and more and more, so don't be afraid we'll think you talk about it too much!
Hoover family,
We are praying for you all. I figure with the date line stuff you are now winging your way home. Blessings on you and yours. Special hugs to Ann.
Love,
K
